HOW TO MAKE A TEXTURE TEMPLATE IN GMAX
TO MAKE A TEXTURE TEMPLATE FROM A GMAX PROJECT YOU MUST DO THIS TO REACH THE SUCCES
THIS TUTORIAL ITS INTENDED ONLY TO SHOW A GOOD WAY TO MAKE A TEXTURE TEMPLATE
I WILL ASUME THAT YOU KNOW HOW TO DESIGN ,PAINT AND TEXTURIZE

WELL NOW
RIGHT DOWN TO THE TUTORIAL
FIRST LOCATE THE NECESARY BUTTONS
THEN WE WILL PROCEED TO THE STEPS
1.- select your desired part and press hide unselected with right mouse button
2.-expand the rigth/top or the desired viewport ..we have chosen the top viewport
3.-with the window expanded .. use zoom tool and pan tool to match the part
with the viewport edges or press E .. and then adjust the part with viewport
edges
4.- with all the parts matched and all set .. put the expert mode ( control+x
or in the view menu ) .. then zoom and pan if its necesary
5.- take a screenshot of your current screen and paste it in some image editor
(photoshop or paintshop pro )
6.-paint the part shape of the screenshot as if this is the texture template
.. whe finish just cut it or retouch it or put somewhere in your master textures
or where you want it
